I'm going out on a limb here, but you sound a little over-analytical here. There could be a million reasons why someone didnt, couldnt, wouldnt, shouldnt, wont etc....... You know the person to whom you are referring, you figure it out. If it seems like someone is ignoring you, they probably are!

I agree that people should at least attempt to reply. I went without a computer for the longest time and people were mad at me, couldnt seem to get it through their head that I had no way of replying to their emails. I mean, I didnt even know I recieved them! How was I suposed to reply? Now that I do have a comp and back into the emailing, no one seems to reply to me. I dont know if they are doing it for spite, or they really are busy. For some of my friends, emailing is the only way that I am able to communicate with them. Why do people even have an email account and give out their address if they dont intend to use it? And if they do recieve it but dont have time to reply, cant they pick up a phone and just say "Hey..."

It would depend on the situation. I get so many emails that I could never answer them all. There are also times that I don't have a chance to check my emails for a couple of days. Usually I will respond if it is a personal email, though. Sometimes emails also get lost in cyberspace and the recipient doesn't receive them, but if you send several emails and never get a response, you might be safe to assume that the person does not want to communicate with you.

I have been sent emails..by others..and sometimes..I pay it no attention..or I will simple get to it when I am up to it or maybe I am busy...if you are snding an email to someone always make sure to write off..email me back or call me later..something so that the person knows to reply back..I have gotten emails from friends or one guy that i know..he/she sends like attachments of pictures or something funny and most of the time I dont reply back...

its the right thing to do, send a message back, however as we have learned in american society we are pretty bust people. I find that email gets put on the back burner a lot because I have so much spam in my account most of the time even with spam guards that I spend more time cleaning out my account. If you want the chick to respond call her. Trust me she will call you back.

Nope, I don't believe there's anyway "right" way to deal with email. I don't see why a response is always required.
No response could mean a million things. It could mean the other person is busy, or not interested, or got in an accident, or their computer crashed. Etc etc etc etc.

I agree with you, but more often than not, in this day and age, you just get ignored as it is easier for them to give you the message!
Sometimes there are other explanations so you might have to ask. If still no reply, forget it!
