3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

1.Do you really have high bp? Check it at different times during the day, and at night, and get your own bp machine. Note down the readings and see if there is a pattern.
Show this list to your doctor, so that they can decide if you need medicine.
2.Are you overweight? If you are, then lose 10lb by exercise and diet. You must walk 30-60min per day in early morning or evening as this will lower your bp by 5 points over time.
3.Are you eating out alot? Hi salt and hi fat increase bp, stick to low salt homemade stuff
4.Are you stressed? Deal with it through meditation
5.If your bp is still high (more than 135 systolic and 85 diastolic), or you get frequent headaches, chest pain, leg swelling or shortness of breath, you need treatment with medications (beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, ace inhibitors).
6.The purpose of treatment is to stop the effects of hi bp on the body: to prevent stroke, heart attacks and irreversible kidney damage---take action now, your health is in your hands!

Hi.... Ali Sab!, There is no permanent Cure for B.P. and there is no other system of other Alternative Medicine for B.P. All the other systems can reduce the intake of Medicine and safe guard from side Effects.Hence I am sincerely advising you to go for Allopathic Treatment with a Doctor who Qualified with M.D. who can analyse the root cause for the Problem. There are several causes for the BP . some times Thyroid imbalance may also cause for the Problem. On analysing the cause the Doctor will prescribe the Medicine for controlling BP along with the treatment for the other problems caused for aggravation of BP. Some hypertension can be controlled via regular exercise, reducing sodium intake (salt reduction), and meditation. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.
Several classes of drugs can help control it. Beta and Alpha blockers, ACE inhibitors, Calcium channel blockers, angiotensin II receptor antagonists, and diuretics are commonly used to treat it.

Do not add salt to any of your foods and try some low salt diets too. (home made diet foods). It works amazingly when you watch your intake of salt. especially processed foods and cured meats for deli food outlets, potatoe chips, pretzels, fast food restaurants etc and so called low salt fast foods..No such thing !!!! make them yourself and you will see a difference in your blood pressure without your dependancy on medications.

aside from hypertensive medicines, frequent urination can also lower the pressure. you can also bath in a tub of cold water. it will constrict the vessels. dont eat too much. if you are so full, your diaphragm will push your lungs up giving you shortness of breath giving high pressures on your vessels.
