I want to change my eating and exercising habits and lose 90lbs over the next year or so. Any suggestion or tips that would be helpful about staying on track?
Thanks

You are thinking about this all wrong. You should never make a MAJOR change all at once. And you need to make more obtainable goals. Yes, you eventually want to lose 90 lbs., but the first time you go off your new major diet change, you will get discouraged and give up--probably eating even more. So, make a goal like...20 lbs. by February. Don't starve yourself during the holidays--just eat moderately. No binging. By Feb., there is no reason you can't have lost 20 lbs. You will feel so much better, than will encourage you to make your next 20 lb. goal.

Okay yes! I have lost 35 pounds in two months. September 17, to December 1, I ate less that 1000 cals a day and walked on my treadmill 3-5 miles a day. I keep a record of all my progress so I dont get discourage. On December 1, I have started to fast and in 3 days I have lost 10 lbs. I am doing a water fast for 21 days and from day 22-32 I will do a juice fast and slowly work towards solids. My plans are not to eat meat at all if possible the rest of my life. Fasting is very great my blood pressure went from 140/88 to 117/64 which i s awesome for me.

Start working out and do Atkins diet. It's great, but you have to follow it strictly. You can also do South Beach, but it can sometimes cause cravings.
