It is recommended that you can lose 2 pounds per week at a healthy weight loss so in 4 months if you lost 2 pounds a week you would lose 32 pounds so give yourself a realistic goal of 7-8 months and you will not pose any health risks, and remember you are 13 and your body needs nutrition, you are at a vital time of growth, just stay away from sugar, fries, bread all the things with lots of carbs and you will see a huge difference. Just make sure you are still eating because if you don't eat it will be like a juggling effect up and down. hope this helps you.

yes. one or two pounds a month, (I know this seems tedious) and you will be able to keep it off and also you will learn better eating/exercise habits. Losing weight fast has proven only that your body will starve and try to betray you by storing everything you eat. Losing weight will be come more and more difficult, then suddenly you get discouraged, then you gain even more weight than you had in the beginning. Lose weight slowly by ramping up your activities (get a dog and run) and exercising self-control at every meal
