Moonfloor, that is the stupidist thing I have ever read. Pit bulls are great dogs that will do anything for their owners. If their owner is an idiot drug dealing monster that exploits his dogs and makes them fight- they will fight. But human agression in APBT is a rarity. If you want real facts and figures, go to the CDC website and find out what breeds bite more people-

The most horrifying example of the lack of breed predictability is the October 2000 death of a 6-week-old baby, which was killed by her family's Pomeranian dog. The average weight of a Pomeranian is about 4 pounds, and they are not thought of as a dangerous breed. Note, however, that they were bred to be watchdogs! The baby's uncle left the infant and the dog on a bed while the uncle prepared her bottle in the kitchen. Upon his return, the dog was mauling the baby, who died shortly afterwards.

So please sir, do not repeat garbage. If you don't know the truth, don't bother voicing your opinion.

No not all dogs are mean. Some people either have a smell some dogs do not like or something about there personality that some dogs find threatening.
People walking with a cane, or in wheelchairs may set off some dogs.
If you find dogs mean you have yet to run into a dog who has been socialized properly. Police dogs are way cool and I always ask if I can pet one when I see one....and I have been taking medication since young. Some dogs are very sensitive to peeps who are on medication...
If you came to our home around our 4 dogs I am positive you would be excepted...

Nope not at all. Some dogs are only because they are abused or are mean guard dogs trained to be mean to stop burglars. Most dogs are very sweet. Some are even extremely shy like my dog Skippy, he really shy its so cute! Hes a boy.

NOOOO!!! Dogs are awesome! They are the best friend that we can ever have here on earth. If it were between my family or my dog, I'd choose my dog.
The only dogs that are ever mean have been mistreated by people and through many times of this they have lost their trust. I want to help these poor abused dogs very much.

It depends on the individual dog, I've had people say the Bouvier De Flanders is mean, but mines is a big sweetheart who loves everyone and every dog he meets.
I'd say Labs and Golden Retrievers are the most popular easy going breed.

No. Dogs aren't mean. It's the owners that make them mean. Dogs want to obey. You should watch the dog whisperer on cable, or whatever.

Most dogs, if raised properly, are very loving and gentle companions.

Dogs that have been mistreated or neglected can develop aggression issues. This can be coaxed out of them, but only by a lot of work by dog savvy and caring rescuers.

of course not the owners are the ones that make their dogs mean and pitbulls have a bad rap because they are bred to be fighting dogs. I have a bulldog and she is the sweetest thing
