Coconut oil is good for hair. Because it is least sticky. Growth of hair depends mainly on hereditary factors. .Arabs have good hair . To some extent growth can be increased by taking Vitamin A and D rich food. Mainly fish. People living in sea sides have good skin and hair, because of high intake of sea foods.

It really depends on your hair type. Anything heavy is bad for your hair and skin. I've found success by keeping my ends trimmed and using a professional deep conditioner to seal my ends. For a follow up after a good conditioning, maintain your mane with coconut, olive, or carrot oil for the hair. These are good light moisturizers that promote growth, reduce frizziness/split ends, and give hair a natural sheen. Best of wishes!

For your hair type, the best solution is Olive oil, in a spray form. Leave it on overnight, and wash it the next day. This oil is also not that greasy, so u can even spray it on, when u go out, as it conditions your hair and gives it a shiny, healthy look to it.
A good trim is best for splitends.

I have used Carol's daughter tui hair oil and it worked fine. But unless you are African American, I would seriously stay away from peanut oil and stuff like that because it can make your hair very greasy. I would start taking a hair skin and nails supplement.

The best oil for your hair, is natural oil, your head produces, Just dont wash your hair every day. Do it every other, and let your hair soak up the healthy oils that it needs. This will give you less split ends and breakage.

If you don't keep your dead ends trimmed, your hair will never grow. You can put all the conditioners (they are all good) on your hair that you want, but they don't actually 'repair' dead ends. If you don't trim them off , your hair splits more and more upwards, that's why it won't grow healthly.Get a good cut and start over. Keep condtioning, too.
