we moved and it was not used for a year then we had it oiled and started it. it used to be on hardwood floor and is now on carpet.

Talk to a speaiclist it can be fixed , but would not play with it yourself get somone who knows what there doing. if your in the uk look on www.yell.co.uk

If it is a real grandfather clock, there should be a way to adjust the pendulum up or down the shaft. Move it up to make it run faster, or down for slower.

first of all why when some one says talk to a specialist or professional when some one asks a question, now for ur clock id say u should look for the adjust ment around the back
