Mango ripe fruits are rich in vitamin A,B,D,raw fruits rich in vitamin C,Mango fruits are good laxatives.The juice extracted from bark is used to treat bleeding piles ,the dried leaves are burnt and smoke inhaled to clean throat.The inner contents of seed are antihelmintic,also used in piles.The juice obtained from inner region of seed is used to wash the eyes.These are the household uses and remedies common in konkan region where Alphonso mango is grown in plenty.

mango bark is very effective in treatmant of diptheria n other throat diseases. mango flowers boiled in water can b used as a mouth-wash in cases of gum inflammation. gum of mango tree can b mixed with lime juice and can b used to heal cutaneous diseases.

i have heard,in many villages they use as to brush their teeth....
it is also used for making ayud medicines...for injuries...
