Sony VX2100 or Canon DN XM-1?

Do you mean Xm-1 or XL1? The XM1 is the PAL version of the XL1. As for which camera, I think the VX2100 has the edge, even though Im a big fan of canon's upper end cameras. Its slightly newer, and although doesnt have interchangeable lenses, still has very good picture quality. However, if you have money might want to get the XL1s, because that offers interchangeable lenses along with better CCDs, so in that case the XL1s would be better than the VX2100. I would suggest an XL2, but its probably out of your price range. Hope this helps!
