You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

we don't know if you are exercising, or how you eat so I will start at the beginning. the reason your body stores fat is because it thinks it is starving, it will adjust your metabollism to retain calories. so since you have a small reasonable goal,here's what you do. first thing in the a.m. drink a protein drink. In 2hrs eat a piece of fruit and drink a bottle of water. in 2 more hrs, eat broiled chicken breast wit 2 veggies and bread. don't drink with the meal it will dilute the digestion process. drink a bottle of water 30 minutes before. 3 hrs later eat some celery or baby carrots and a cup of green tea. for your last meal eat a plate of fruit and veggies and enjoy a hot cup of green tea. I f you exercise you can add a protein drink 1 hour before the workout and within 30 minutes after u finish drink a protein rebuilder and carbo replacement drink. and again 2 hrs after you finish the workout. this is critical as your body recovers from the workout during this time. If u don't feed your body then u will be sore because your body will rob itself to try and recover. rob peter to pay paul. make sure your fiber intake is at least 25 to 30 grams a day, as this carries nutrients thru your body. not everything is absorbed in the stomach. if u want to know more email me here at yahoo.

If you are a sedentary man weighing about 75 kilos (165 pounds) then even if you eat nothing, you'll only lose about 1.9 kilos (4.3 pounds) in a week. You could exercise on top of starving yourself to achieve the 5 pounds loss.

you might want to think aboutt he hollywood diet...you drink this drink for 24-48 hours and suppose to lose like 10 lbs. (detoxifying your body in the process) I've yet to try it, but was thinking of getting some today to try out. so i'll let you know how it works, but the celebs rave about it. you can buy it at local drug and health stores.

Morning breakfast two slices of bread one egg and one glass of milk or ruit juice. Not more than that. With bread if you eat some vegetable salads it will control the weight gain. Afternoon vegetable soup , bread and cheese and no meat or any poultry items. Night early supper with clear soup two slices of bread with vegetable salad, no alchohol, two pieces of chicken and a glass of milk or juice before sleeping.
