I was brought up a Christian but did not know God nor followed Him until 7 years ago. My son was 3 year old at the time and began seeing demons in our home. I knew what they were because I was brought up to know about Satan and his demons. However, because of my sinful state (I was lesbian and very into the New Age philosophy), the demons would not obey me. I had to teach my little boy to say, "Go away in Jesus' Name" and only then would they leave.

Jesus Christ delivered me from lesbianism, smoking and many other vices and gave me peace and joy. What is your story about how you came to Jesus?

Praise His holy wonderful Name.

Very simple. I just don't want to go to hell. Its not that I'm so noble or anything like that. But hey, there's really no downside to being a Christian.

Two years ago, I, was a hateful, deceiving, back stabbing, loud mouth, smoker, drinker, liar, willfully sinner. Before I left college I was out on my balcony and spoke this

"My life will not be same when I get home".

I came home at the end of June '04 and gave my life to Christ August '04.

Since then God has truly showed out. He has delivered me from the hands of the enemy and He still molding me to a mighty woman of God.

Daily I am highly favored and bless. I am a new creature. He worked fast too. I learned that God is serious about those that are serious about Him. He has been too good to me to turn around.

From studying many religions I found them all to be false, except the Holy Bible. The words of the Bible are alive and full of the truth. I believed all I read in the Bible. About how Jesus Christ gave his life for us. How we can have everlasting life, if we follow Jesus Christ. I knew I was on my way to hell if I died before making Jesus Christ my Savior.

So one night I prayed to God, and confessed I was a sinner, that I believed the Bible to be his word. I told God I believed Jesus died for me on the cross. I invited Jesus Christ to come into my life, and be my Lord and Savior. I knew something was different after that prayer, but it is very hard to put into words, but I knew I was saved and I felt very clean inside. I was 17 years old at the time.

Looking back 34 years later I know why I felt so different. Because God's Holy Spirit came into me, to guide me and teach me how to be more Christ like.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you for ever.

John 14:26 But the comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your rememberance, whatosever I have said unto you.

Revelation 3:20 Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit down in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

That is a wonderful testimony.

I went to church and read the Bible. Then about 15 years, God revealed (to me) the miserable condition I was in. I could feel the weight and dread I was living. I then prayed a prayer for salvation, and it was granted. I have never turned back, nor have I ever regretted it.

"Jesus Christ delivered me from lesbianism, smoking and many other vices and gave me peace and joy."

And how did a 2,000 year old skeleton do this exactly? Did he have a 12 step program maybe?

It was your own will power that got you to change, not a cult leader that has been dead for 2,000 years.

Yes praise the Lord.....

I was not raise up in a family that went to church at all. The only time I went to church was Vacation Bible School. When I was a little boy. My Grandparents raised me. My parents did not.

I got married and my wife was raise to go to church. But, she was not saved either. She went because she had to.

Now several years after marriage had one child. MY real Father was a very bad beer drinker. My, Mother didn't drink much but, she did not want me to raise.

I work with my dad all the time. We work together on construction jobs. I had no problem being with him.
In fact the older I got the more I was with Him working together. My dad drink bad, even on the jobs. I remember him throwing beer cans down the conrete blocks walls all the time during the day.

Well one summer the Pastor of the little Church came and visited my dad. He ask him to come to Church one Sunday. My dad told him he would. You know how that goes. Tell the preacher anything to get him out of your house. The pastor kept coming back to visit my dad.

One Sunday my dad went. He accept Jesus into his heart. He got saved. Well, a few weeks went by and my dad got very busy with the church. One day my mother call me to come over. She needed to talk to me. So I went and we talk. My mother said something is wrong with your dad and I ask what was it. She said he not the some man he was. She told me that my dad change so much that she shocked by his actions. She told me he wasn't drinking any more and all he wanted to do. Is read the Bible and go to Church. [This is what Jesus can do for anybody] I could not believe how my dad changed. No drinking, no bad language, just working, praying, going to church. I could not believe it.

Now the little church was having a Revival one week. The preacher came and visit me. My dad ask me to come one night. I thought I would go one night just to get the preacher and my dad off my back about going. Well, I went the first night. At the end of the message from the preacher. He ask would anyone come and accept Jesus into our Hearts. I can tell you I thought my heart was going go thru my chest. But, I did nothing.

I went back the second night. The same thing again. I went back the thrid night and the same thing again. On the fourth night was different. The preaching, the invitation to come up, and ask Jesus to come into our hearts. Just then my dad walk up and kneel down at the altar to pray and he was crying. Then he stood up and said. When it was time for him to die. He was going to Heaven.
I could not stand it any more {Jesus was talking to me]
I went up front and told the preacher and my dad. Your not going to Heaven without me. I accepted Jesus as my Savior, and ask Jesus to forgive me of my sins. [repented]

After that my life changed, my wife got saved. Still to this day we are involed in Church. Ready to go to Heaven when it time. My dad is already there. [praise God]

Thanks for letting me share this. There is so much more.

If I have misspelled any words, sorry.
