When I click on the Click here to get started in the side bar showing update available I enter my pass word but nothing else happens. Help!!

visit http://update.microsoft.com/ and follow the prompts there to upgrade your IE. you shouldn't be asked for any passwords whatsover unless it is another program asking for it.

I took the first IE7 out after download, and redownloaded it and had no problem, I have never had sign into anything...so it has to be something else causing that. Often Security Suites cause problems, might check something like that.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customizable to suit your need and no problems.

access the update from within the main page rather than the sidebar, often times the cookie doesn't transfer. Also if you have to keep signing in and it isn't getting to the site you need, check your settings to see if you have cookies disabled.

Restore and get rid,i did after accidentally down loading
the Muppet program again i must say.
