I have a Christmas song that depicts how birds are special:
Dove --- symbol of Peace & Love
Robin - introduces us to spring
Rooster - crows at sunrise
Eagle - Freedom
All birds sing (All God's creatures have a place in the choir, some sing high, some sing low)
All are beauiful (except vulchers, in my opinion)

Are you talking about my companion parrots or the hundreds I feed outside everyday, which include a flock of about 30 Lovebirds?
As with everything in God's world, birds balance our eco system. They care for the Earth and rid the world of vermin and are an important part of keeping our environment clean. We have birds that hunt rats and mice, which is critical to our agriculture. Other birds eat bugs, including one that has such keen eyesight he can see a mosquito in the air and catch it while flying. I feed wild birds to keep the bug population down in my yard, so that they don't get into my house. Much better than using pesticides that will kill the birds. Some birds help to pollinate the earth and others carry seeds from one area to another promoting the growth of plants.
Sadly, my companion parrots, instead of flying free, are for my entertainment. They make me laugh, they share quiet time with me and one of them talks to me. Like a dog or cat, they share my life and make it better.

i'm very grateful for a fashion my existence is stable now. this isn't any longer ideal yet there are not too many stumbling blocks I run into...it particularly is a project and that's what i admire. we've not offered our turkey yet. we don't p.c. it to be sitting in the freezer too long. parakeets are special because they have unique colors, they sing whenever they feel like it. if they heared another bird outside, they try to get as close to the edge of the cage as possible.. wishing they could get outside to meet this other bird .. lol

THEY CAN FLY, THEY CAN LEARN TO TALK/MIMIC AND THEY ARE JUST GORGEOUS.
