Is this worth leaving and trying to find another church?

We have an amazingly gifted preacher and very solid Bible teachers in our church but I HATE the music style during services. What should I do?

If it's just a matter of style, then I would say, if you can focus on the words and on worshipping God, then stay with it. It really is incredibly difficult to find a church these days with solid, Bible-focused preaching and that is much more important than musical style.

Personally, I like the music at my church, but the preaching isn't the best (though it's not terrible either). Unfortunately, living in a rural area, the choices are limited. I wish I had your problem!

Anyway, may God bless and guide you as you come to a decision on this.

Try speaking with the leaders of the church like maybe requesting music you enjoy I know the music is a huge part of the service but I don't feel u should leave the church if you enjoy the teaching and r getting alot out of it and feel the presence of Jesus there over the music just make it known they need to move into the new age...

I think you could start a new church using the message you like(from the old church) and the music you like(from your own library) and you may be surprised how many people agree with you. Music is always relative to the person listening.

do NOT leave the church, no matter what church you go to you will always find something that you don't care for , the church is trying to reach the young crowd w/ the music, but maybe you could POLITELY ask them to do a couple hymns every now & then. God Bless

Speak to the Pastor and Music minister about it, but first, see if anyone else has those same feelings,,but beware about bringing about a scism in the Church, dont cause trouble, if it looks like it's going to be a hotly debated issue ,,then dont

Well.other than the nasty music, this church sounds fine to you, and the preaching and doctrine seem fine to you...so why leave?
Just bring earplugs, and wear them until the music is over!

Yes, those churches with music stink. Get out of that sick place. It's fortunate that you apparently see this for yourself. You really don't need a church, just live by your own intuition and understanding. Check out fhu.com, however, it's very helpful.

You dont need music for worship. Worshiping requires silence.
