People are very very quick to blame God and yet they forget there is a Satan in the world that has come to steal and destroy. What is your belief about Satan?

Actually, Satan does have a part indeed, however. I you should note that Satan cannot do anything without God's permission, Read the 1st Chapter of Job.
You get an understanding about this and learn from that, God uses Satan as a "puppet" to consumate God's redemptive plan for mankind, Satan of course knows this, tis why he is so angry and roars about like a Lion waiting to devour whom he can find.
And also God will not aloow anything to happen to you (A Christian) that you cannot withstand.

As for those who are lost? Those who are lost and will never know Christ are taken as God sees fit, as for who they are,?
Only God knows

I don't even believe in Hell so Satan isn't really on my mind too often. Satan has no power as far as I'm concerned. I don't believe Satan is to blame for all the misery of the human race. We brought on the misery ourselves and have nobody but us to blame for all that's wrong in the world. It's not because of Satan...it's because God made us human and being human is being flawed and with those flaws comes bad decisions, selfishness and lots of other unflattering "human" characteristics. To blame everything on Satan is to give an excuse for our own bad behaviour. And that's pretty lame. God gave us free will....what we choose to do with our free will is up to us. Satan can't be our scapegoat for everything.

you know it is amazing how many people still don`t get it that satan is the soul blame of all the misery of the human race since his own rebellion against God and that we have been paying the price ever since, he hides in the background delirious with glee over our constant bickering and fighting.
They then proceed to ask why God does not stop satan as if it were a simple matter of two matched rivals in a battle.
they don`t seem to get the fact that there can only be 1 rebellion against God and everything since is just the aftermath of this.
the Lord allows satan to continue for one reason only and that is to allow us to make our choice of obedience to Him or to side with the rebellion of satan, the choice is ours and will determine were we want to be for eternity, in the loving presence of God or the Hell of satan.
every human being must decide and God cannot do that for us, and we know that when most of the world will have decided to side with satan then the Lord wil come to destroy satan and take those who are Gods children with Him, and the devil will never again be allowed to challenge God or His people, it`s that serious folks, so start deciding.

Well God and Satan are good ways of explaining good vs evil.

They don't exist, but its a good way of getting the message across.

I don't believe Satan is a separate entity. I don't believe God, knowing ahead of time what would happen, would create something like that in order to have people he can torment for eternity in hell. (Please don't hand me, but YOU choose to go to hell or not. God still created the hell, right?) Then again, I don't believe in hell either, so that point doesn't matter much to me.

But God is supposed to be in charge right? All powerful and able to just destroy Satan if he really wanted to? Yet he doesn't. Hmm...

I agree w/ you & besides sometimes bad things happen to us because we followed the way of the world (the flesh)
& not God. Then other times bad things happen to us to
bring us back to God & to count on him to give us strength during the storm. God Bless & Merry Christmas !
