i hurd some really nasty rumors about this guy that i like from his ex and some of them made me not even like him any more and i feel bad i just dont want him to get hurt

it's you ,you should be looking after .
anyhow put it in it's perspective , why would you need to listen to nasty rumours , particularly from his ex --- she might have an axe to grind --- you need to be careful here as there is always two sides to a story --- so maybe you could lay it on the line to him ( in discreet manner of course )
tell me are you sitting on the fence for this guy ( i.e. do you want to date him ? ) or are you just interested in his well being because of the rumours ? either way tread carefully --- you might be the one to be hurt . good luck ,.

first of all.... they call it an "ex" for a reason.


Second of all... why would you believe anything an ex says?


Third of all.... if a few rumors made you not like a guy anymore, then the guy isnt for you.

and lastly.... Tell him what the ex said... and see what his response is.... i dont think he'll be hurt unless he likes you, and if he does, then he will explain.
