Yes, I most definitely believe in love at first sight. I also believe that there's a difference in being in love and falling in love with someone. Falling in love being the rarer of the two, and usually the result of love at first sight. True love at first sight is extremely rare, and always mutual. To me it felt like instant familiarity, everything fit perfectly together causing a sense of completion. Experiencing love at first sight has to go hand in hand with finding your soul-mate, and the best way I've ever heard soul-mates explained is this; A soul-mate isn't someone with a list of perfect qualities for us. It's someone that your soul chooses to love and be with, and then we spend the rest of our lives discovering why! If you experience this once (let alone twice or thrice) count yourself blessed indeed, no matter what the outcome is. Most people go their entire lives with out experiencing, or should I say recognizing, true love, even when it's staring them right in the eyes.

Generally I dont, but I had an experience once that I've only ever had once, and it shook me to the core..
At a place I worked a "new girl" had come in for an interview, she had short bleached blonde hair, was very pretty and was dressed quite "glamorously" - wearing diamond black and white leggings and a low cut top - she looked awesome, but like she was about to go out on a serious night clubbing!
However, when I saw her sitting in reception, my jaw actually dropped, and I had what can only be described as a "waynes world" moment, where an "unnecessary zoom" happened - and I dont mean that in an ironic way - I mean I had tunnel vision zoom thing happen, it was exactly like the "unnecessary zoom" moment in waynes world - it's was bizarre. I was smitten.
She got the job and we became friends, but I always had feelings for her, despite having a girlfriend. In fact it all got a bit nasty when my girlfriend overhead her telling her friends she would "s h a g " me, they ended up in a brawl some weeks later. It was nasty stuff.
But we still remained friends, and I wish I could see her again she was great.
So in answer to your question, sort of..

No, not true love. However, I do believe that you know within the first couple of minutes whether or not you'd sleep with the person or not. Lust or sexual attraction...but not love. That comes with time and knowledge.
