A mixture is the best
Supportive, sensitive-BUT NOT a cry baby, caring is the most important
Then it is a Bonus if he is Strong and sometimes dominant when he needs to be for example to protect his family.
Why would i want a caveman... it's 2006
Just a tip for men
A man has to be a man but it doesn't mean he has to live like an animal.
A man should:
Have a SHOWER/ BATH at least Once a day
Change his Boxers and socks EVERYDAY
Moisturise their hands and Bodies-There is nothing worse than an man with hard skin-its a turn OFF (makes me want to run a mile).
If a man can't look after himself, how can he look after you?
Men NEED TO USE DEODORANT!! AND aftershave on special occasions..Hugo Boss is soooo sexy.

Ha ha! Both! Its a paradox.
There is a difference between strong and domineering. On the one hand women want a man who is confident, capable, and sure of himself (not arrogant!), But we also want a man who is sensitive enough to understand our feelings and explain their own (if asked! Its a womans job to talk about her feelings all the time, its what we do best).
The perfect example I can think of right now is Daniel Craig's portrayal of the new James Bond. Thats exactly the right mix of caveman and new man! Phwoar!

That, my dear, is the question! While a lot of women are initially more attracted to the former, someone who is capable and masterful (but not domineering), at the end of the day if he cant be there for her emotionally then most sensible women will lose interest. Actually maybe that's just me...lol. I def think you need some element of both, I guess different people seek a different balance.
I just read stormsandblues comments and would have to say that pretty much sums it up for me aswell!

A bit of both.
In terms of the relationship, I like him to be kind, caring, supportive and sensitive to my needs. Sexually I like my men dominant, and forceful. I prefer playing the submissive role.
Personally I like a man who's a little rough around the edges and he knows it but doesn't care. Someone who is just as vulgar as I am and into dirty jokes and things most people find not "kosher". i can't stand pretty boys, who spend more time getting ready than I do.

Sorry caveman wins the day but i think that's because some of us women just like to have a moan and the cavemen seem easier to moan at..they seem to take it on the chin better.

Bit of both.
Its nice to feel safe and protected but at the same time u want someone who u can sit and talk to about anything and they'll listen.
So i'd say 60% cave man and 40% kind.

no I'm just kidding. girls opinions vary, I'm not sure if you mean personality wise or physically with the 'caveman' referance though.
I like guys who tell dirsty jokes and use corny pickup lines
but that's just me. any other girl would probably want nice sensetive, caring, *cough*waitsonherhandandfoot*cough.
haha, i dont know.
