There is no actual reason I guess. But I don't believe in sex before marriage for myself. I have no objections to other people doing it and don't have a lower opinion of them or anything. It's just not what I want for myself.
I think sex would be a lot more special if you waiting until after you were married.
Everybody is saying "Try before you buy" kind of thing. But sex shouldn't really be such a big part of relationships. It should be a part, I admit, but not the be all and end all. There's more important things to have between the pair of you, such as love and trust.
For me, it's to do with my actual wedding day. My dream is to have a church wedding and I wouldn't feel right having a church wedding with me in white, if I wasn't a virgin. So for me, it is really important, but depends on your beliefs.

Old sayings! You wouldn't buy a pair of shoes without trying them on would you? Personally I am a firm believer in that if a couple doesn't get along in bed then they are not going to get along from their nose to their toes. I believe this is the reason that our divorce rate is so high, find out first if you can satisfy each other in bed and if not then no marriage because it will only end in divorce. Men tend to stray because there is something missing at home, so they try to find it somewhere else. I also think that a couple should at least try everything at least once to see if they like it and go from there.

plus having sex now
will give you many many disease to give to your new boyfriend or your husband and to your kids if you CAN have kids
those are the great reasons to have sex
5 out of 50 have some from to STD's from HIV, AIDS, HERPES, GENITAL WARTS< to the old style STD's
so go ahead ALL of you do it in any way you can..go get those incurable disease and transferable disease.
please there are to many people already on this earth
and you say I won't get them, you can not tell by looking at anyone if they have the deadly ones, and yes more than half of you reading this will get something
even hand jobs and kissing, yes kissing can give you a disease

Because then sex would be the only reason why you are getting married. Sex should wait until after marriage because then it will be based on the only reasons it should be - love, dedication and commitment.

Generally (today) people are more free with their sexual desires, as long as safe sex is observed.

There is no reason. I actually think it is important to have sex be4 marriage so as you know if the chemistry is there. Sometimes there is no compatibility in bed and many marriages break up because of that.

He doesn't say we can't have sex
He Just shows us the safer way to do it after all he designed it.
Imagine if Bill Gates tells you how to use Microsoft,logically you should listen to him because he designed it.

no idea, be like buying a shirt and not trying it on.
what if you get married and the sex is rubbish > cant take it back then can you.
get on with it and get jiggy with it. try before you buy, but some people dont like to as its special, or religious reasons, and thats cool too!
