MW (Megawatts) is a unit of power. Power is energy over time, in other words, 1MW is 1 Joule per second. Power is not the same as energy!

the capacity is certain whenever you draw energy it's there ....on the other side the total consumption of the energy on the other side at any time shouldn't go over 1MW

Typically generator capacity is stated in MW/hr. It is common to drop the "/hr" when talking about generators.
