try to be strong for a short time....surround yourself with things that make you happy like food, etc....

it is quite hard because christmas is meant for the family...

wipe your tears away, at least you know they'll come back...

That's terrible. If you havn't got any family or friend here, do they have access to a computer? You can stay in contact by MSN or email, or even Webcam.

Whiel you have this time and no one is around, why not make the bets of a bad situation. See this as an opportunity to start fresh and prepare for the new year, re-evaluate how your year has been and start setting goals for the new year (it won't solve your lonliness but you will be at leave being productive).

Or why not make knew friends? Start going to a local gym, join a hobby group or meet people at bars/clubs (be careful if you go by yourself). OR if you are the entreprenural type why not put yourself on ebay for the xmas period?

TITLE: FRIEND FOR RENT OVER THE XMAS PERIOD

you may get some interesting offers :P

I hope you have a great xmas.. good luck :)

You must tell your "parents" your feelings. I am quite sure that they will know what you should do. But, just in case, I tell you what a friend of mine does. He is in the same, or similar situation as you, no one to spend Christmas with. So he Volunteers at the local "shelter", and Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, he goes there and makes the "very poor" and "disadvantaged" feel love. He tells me it has turned out to be the Best Christmases he has ever had, the unselfish act of Giving. Giving to those who have NOTHING! - No parents, no home, no siblings. Thank the Creator that you are NOT that Alone, and go out and help the disadvantaged in your own neighbourhood. Merry Christmas.

Hey where's the best place to go during Christmas other than going to a church . That is the place where you will experience the true meaning of Christmas and I am sure there will be lots of love too. In there, you will never be alone again and I bet this will be the best Christmas you will ever have

Ouch! You do not say why you aren't with them, though. If I were you I would volunteer to help serve the homeless Christmas dinner, go to a movie later and try to get through it. Have you any grandparents? Can you go with your sister.
Whatever you end up doing, please know there are people everywhere who spend every holiday alone. I wish you a merry Christmas and hope you will consider the above offers.

I would say maybe go to a local homeless shelter and volunteer or go to a church. Shelters are always needing volunteers and you can meet some really nice people. Churchs always have something going on for Christmas. If you belong to a church I'm sure you know someone. If not just go to one anyway. Sometimes they have meals and stuff and you get a chance to meet some new people and maybe make some friends.

Just chill out for a second. Look at the pictures that you have of them to remind you. Call them, see how they are doing, & what threre up to. Hope you feel okay. I have a friend that won't even be able to call his folks on X-mas. He's going to spend the Holidays alone too. Noone I know even cares about him other than himself.

Hope ya feel better.
