It does in fact snow in Israel, but not that often. Jerusalem, if very cold, has light snow sometimes and it snows on the top of the Golan Heights and other mountains in the area :)

Someone looked through your answers and gave you all a negative rating. I think it was Ahmad. This guy loves to hate everything that has to do with Israel. He will make a fine hitler one day.
Those pictures are something else! It really does snow in Israel! And it snows a lot! Skiing too! Great!

It snowed in Jerusalem when I was there at Christmastime in 1980.
These pictures show snow on Mt. Hermon and in various places in Israel: http://www.urbanplanet.org/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t4380.html
Hope that helps!

Yes it does--Jerusalem will see a bit of snow almost each year and then you have the skiing on My Hermon.
It reminds me of parts of Arizona and Colorado--60 one day and a foot of snow the next :)

Very rarely. It snows, if at all, in Safed, Golan heights and Jerusalem (incl. Beth Lehem).
