This pick-up is in great condition. Has four new wheels and tires , plus a new spare. It has a bed liner, toolbox and running boards. The person selling it wants 3500 for it, but a neighbor said is was not worth that much. Could any of you pick-up owners out there give me a clue? Thank you very much

Check it out on the Kelley Blue Book site. I believe most banks use this as a guideline for auto loans. Or, at least they used to.

A good tool for the used car shopper is Kelley Blue Book. Most banks have it and you can also use it free on the web at:

To get a good idea of the value, you'll need some other info that you didn't supply in your question: name of the model and specifics about optional equipment, etc. You have the choice of having kbb calculate the retail or wholesale value. To use it click on "Pickup" in the "Used Car Box".

It all depends on if it's 2 wheel or 4 wheel, if it's 1/2 ton 3/4 ton or 1 ton, the number of miles on it, and how well it's been maintained.

You can find what the vehicle is worth at edmunds.com. You can put in the mileage, options, and condition, and it will spit out what the wholesale value is, what a private seller should be asking and what a dealer would ask.

Check it out. Good luck.

Kelly blue book is a joke! value depends on a lot of things and the only one who can decide if this vehicle is worth the price is you. how much rust? they were very poor bodys and rusted badly. how many miles? what is general condition of vehicle? i would say 2 to 3 thousand depending on those items. if you pay the asking price you paid too much no matter what you buy!

depends on the mileage.. if it was under 100k, i would say about $4,000. over 100k, $3,000. and over 200k, $2000 or less. Go to nadaguides.com You have to understand... This pick up is 13 years old.
