I have a friend who needs a visa to the u.k,hes been refused on the basis hes single, cant marry him!?

I can't marry him so i need a way of bringing him here from punjab to the u.k! please help, only get back to me if you have a suitable answer!

Visas are a problem worldwide.

Basically, the person wanting the visa has to establish that he or she has

* he or she was born in the UK
or
* he or she has a spouse who's a UK citizen and that the marriage wasn't simply to gain entry to the UK
or
* he or she has a parent or grandparent born in Britain
or
* he or she has job skills which are such that they can't be readily found in the UK

Failing which it boils down to having a lot of influence with influential people who can use that influence to ensure special treatment.

According to most international laws, if you are a legal citizen of a country, legal worker or legal resident, you have the right to apply for spouse, mom and dad, and children.

Another option would be finding him a job and asking for the employer to apply for a work permit to him. But marriage is easier and cheaper too.

You can obtain better information at the immigration department of your country of residence.

I studied that because I too want to marry an European to exchange citizenships (but I need to find someone willing to). So I hope it helps.
