i have been told that i have low sperm count and i need a higher sperm count to able to impregnant a woman.i wil appreciate it if someone can tell me what causes it and what i need to do to increase it.

Cycling
The simple reason why bicycling is associated to infertility is because blood cells are said to be damaged due to continues contact of the scrotum and the seat. Especially mountain biking is associated with constant bumps due to rugged terrain. This affects the area from the scrotum to the anus. This sport can affect the cells and the nerves that help erection.
Inherited ( low sperm count heredity causes)
One may even inherit the low sperm disorder. But these genetic disorders have a reason too. Below mentioned are a few of the causes:
*Environment
When one is exposed to toxins, softening chemicals, DDT it can directly affect the functions of the testicles or the hormone system.
*Metals/Radiation
Also metals like cadmium, arsenic or lead can reduce sperm production in healthy males too. Radiation and x-rays exposure affect cells that rapidly divide. Sperms are very sensitive to these and thus reduce in number. It can take up to 2 years to resume to normal production but sometimes the effect can be so damaging that normalcy is never attainted.

This has to be examined by doctors after conducting various tests,Low sperm count may be due to hereditary factors.Diseases of genital system especially of testis,undernurishment.Occupatioal hazards like radiation ,working in high temperature etc.You have to consult infertilty clinic.Some small tips to increase sperm counts are here:-
1.Donot ride cycle for long distances,
2.Do not wear too tight under garments
3.Dont apply hot water on tesicles.
4.Take vitamin tablets containing Vitamin E,eat plenty of
goose berries and germinated seeds.
5.If you are working under high temperature or radiation take
adequate protection.
Low sperms count does not mean you cannot make a woman pregnant.Even one sperm can dom the job.Ceratin poses in sex will help.Be hopeful.You will succeed.Good luck.Take first step-go to some good infertility clinic urgently.

alcohol and smoking can cause it. To have high sperm count you have to have sex diet before you give sample for counting. It can be genetic as well you have to talk with a doctor to improve it and for the ways to have a baby. You can able to impregnant a woman with special ways as well.
