No. Well fundamentalist christians frighten me a bit. It would take so little to tip them over the edge and create a whole legion of sociopaths

Yes, I'm genuinely terrified of some other religions. Well, not so much the religions as the followers of the religions. Like the "Rebulican Base", made up of Evangelical Christian zealots who actually want instability in Israel/Palestine because they think it will hasten the destruction of Jerusalem and usher in the Second Coming. And who believe saving the environment is pointless, since the whole world is going to be destroyed just as soon as Jesus comes back...

No, I am not afraid of most other religions.
It's the vocal practitioners and extremists that concern me: the conservative Christian right, Islamic terrorists--people like that.
Christianity and Islam are both wonderful religions--it's just that they're up for interpretation and some people go a little overboard. Ironically, my two examples are supposedly opposites, but the extremist practitioners illicit a similar fear in me.

Yes, Very afraid because of what religion plans for us. As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

I am not afraid of other religions, however there are some factions that claim to be religions like the Church of Scientology that definately have some rather somewhat scary practices.

I am not afraid of religion because religion is doomed. Christianity in its proper practice as Jesus intended it is not religion, but a personal relationship with him.
What concerns me is the spread of religion, those practices that teach self-righteousness and do not offer any realistic plan of salvation for the lost. Billions of people are going to hell because they are either listening to false prophets or they are listening to no one at all. THIS is what concerns me. Deceived and lost souls going to hell should concern every preacher and every worker for Christ. The main thrust of the preacher and the evangelist is bringing people to the throne of Christ through the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sadly, there is too little of this going on in our churches today. Every kind of gospel is being preached and taught except the correct one---the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Only the most ignorant people are afraid of other religions. It might be that they are afraid that someone else might posess an altered, legitimate doctrine that is not thier own. A lot of people are just afraid of thinking differently they can't be wrong, simple as that.

no I don't. the only major differences in one Religion and another are the NAMES they refer to GOD as along with the difference in the Rituals and Ceremonies they use to Adore, Praise, Worship, Honor, Pray to and Petition, Thank, Glorify, Bury the dead, Marry, Etc. Etc. Etc. other than these minor differences all Religions have the same agenda.

No. I don't think there is one correct religion.I am an open minded person and can appreciate the different practices of all religions. As long as your goal doesn't include hurting yourself or anyone else.Everyone could use a bit of spirituality,no matter what religion they choose to practice.

No... why?... because there is only one truth and religions are just like different ways to obtain the same thing.... read them all, know them and you will not be afraid.
