Women are allowed.
I wonder how people get such weird ideas?
One must form an opinion about Islam basing on the actions of a few individuals, or gossip, or media projection, or hear-say, but rather one must research and only then form an opinion.

it is not true ...
Women can pray in Mosque....there s no rule that women can not pray in the Mosque....But only one rule is that women can not stand with men during pray....
generally Mosques have second floor/part or divided room and these are for women to pray.....

They do allow women into Mosques... but, males and females are separated in different quarters.
This is to keep "un-clean" thoughts at bay... e.g. in case a man sees a beautiful woman and has "sinful" thoughts. This separation in terms of praying quarters helps to prevent stuff like that, etc, etc. You get the picture!

that's not true! one or two mosques in London do so because of the size of the mosque which is stupidity and against the teachings of Islam. this doesn't happen world wide.
