Abraham, Issac, Ismail, Moses, Jacob, Jesus and Muhammad are all claimed to be God's Messengers and Prophets. Every one of them had suffered like an ordinary human being. Every one of them died like any other human being. Then the question is what is great about them that they were God's chosen Messengers and rest of the mankind were not that special.

The fact is that none of them was special. They are treated as special by their followers with out any justification. It is only faith ; which can not be argued. Hence, theirs being claimed as Prophets is also a debatable issue. In case of Muhammad it is very clear that he himself declares that he was a Prophet and denies that status to any other in future.

God never promises that bad things won't happen to you if you do what he asks. Just because some of his prophets were killed it doesn't mean they weren't real prophets. Infact, the Bible says that God's messengers can expect to suffer. In John 15v20, Jesus says: 'If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.' But dying for God is worth it, because the people who have died speaking God's word are now in Heaven with him!

Who are you to question God's (the one true God, the Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit) decision?

Would you dare walk up to a lion in the wilderness of Africa and tell it to stay out of your path? How about approaching a crocodile and commanding it to answer you. Just seeing it half a mile away if enough for you to panic, let alone face to face to question such untamed animal. Yet God is greater than all of His creation and can command even a lion, a pack of lions for that matter and they obey Him. And you think you can question God's judgement? Who are you to question the ALMIGHTY, SOVEREIGN, HOLY HOLY HOLY GOD that IS? Blessed be His Name forever, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!!

Who do you think you are mere mortal? Can the clay tell the potter why did you make me like this?

Clearly it appears to an ignorant or unknowing person who cannot see what God can see that He might have failed. However God can see all things past, present and future. He knows all things therefore nothing surprizes Him. Can you see the awesome orchestration of events and the blessings that follow even after the death of a martyr? It is because of the death of Jesus Christ that we have salvation and grace to be redeemed into the Kingdom of God. To you it may seem insane, but to us it the glory and wisdom of God that through death He conquered death, sin and evil.

Furthermore God has all the resources and will reward his followers with ETERNAL, UNPERISHABLE rewards which consequently cannot be put side by side with the riches of this world. They do not compare because they are of the Spiritual realm. No gold can add up to the glory that awaits the saved.

It doesn't matter what you think about the prophets that God spoke through, it matters that you have ears to hear what God was telling you because if He would come in all glory you would be consumed in His presence and cease to exist. Therefore He speaks through those that He chooses that walk righteously before Him that you who are not in a relationship with the Almight God to hear in plain language the message of God.

For God so loved you that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that if you believe in Him, you will not perish but have eternal life, redeemed into God's family.

You can have PhD after PhD and doctorate after doctorate but when it comes to spiritual things you can be completely ignorant. Don't be one of them, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, call upon him now and dedicate your life to Him.

Take Televangelists. They spread the word of their God, and reap financial rewards from it.

Compare that to monks who live a life of poverty. They spread the message of their God, at what is arguably a great personal cost.

Who are you more likely to listen to?

It’s a sad truth that people who die/suffer are simply more effective at spreading the word of a God.
