I don't have a recipe but I've been cooking chicken and dumplings for 38 years. Boil the chicken till it's done. Take a bowl full of flour (preferably non-self rising) Gently push a "hole" in the center with your hand. Fill the hole with the broth from the chicken. I like the broth to be cool enough to handle. My mom always made dumplings with the really hot broth as soon as the chicken was done. Add about 2-3 teaspoons of baking powder and salt to taste. With a fork start stirring flour into the broth. When it starts thickening you can use your hands to knead it till it's firm enough to roll out with a rolling pin. Roll the dough and cut and drop dumplings into boiling broth. You can serve the chicken separate or in with the dumplings. This is my niece's favorite dish so I fix it for her birthday every year. I freeze what's left over and I have a few lunches already fixed.

On a box of Bisquick! Basically, you just boil your chicken. Pull it out of the broth and clean while you cook the dumplings. Dumplings: Mix 2 cups Bisquick & 2/3 C milk. Drop spoonfuls into the boiling broth. Cook Covered on low 10 min. Uncover & cook another 10 min. Add chicken. WA-LA !!! ( Add some seasonings and maybe a chicken bullion while the chicken is boiling, if you'd like)
