How come Muslims are so engrossed with Islam that they only see Islam as the ONE & ONLY true religion in the whole wide world? Why do they see other religions as inferior and don't accept their teachings as good? Is it because Muslims are already an expert in other religions that they finally realize Islam is the best? In that case, maybe any Muslims here can tell me what you know about other religions beside Islam that you think you know so well that it is inferior to Islam.

Islam provides many human rights for the individual. The following are some of these human rights that Islam protects. The life and property of all citizens in an Islamic state are considered sacred, whether a person is Muslim or not. Islam also protects honor. So, in Islam, insulting others or making fun of them is not allowed. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: Truly your blood, your property, and your honor are inviolable. Saheeh Al-Bukhari, #1739, and Mosnad Ahmad, #2037.
Racism is not allowed in Islam, for the Quran speaks of human equality in the following terms:
O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female and have made you into nations and tribes for you to know one another. Truly, the noblest of you with God is the most pious. Truly, God is All-Knowing, All-Aware. The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 49, Verse 13
Islam rejects certain individuals or nations being favored because of their wealth, power, or race. God created human beings as equals who are to be distinguished from each other only on the basis of their faith and piety. The Prophet Muhammad said: O people! Your God is one and your forefather (Adam) is one. An Arab is not better than a non-Arab and a non-Arab is not better than an Arab, and a red (i.e. white tinged with red) person is not better than a black person and a black person is not better than a red person, except in piety. Mosnad Ahmad, #22978
One of the major problems facing mankind today is racism. The developed world can send a man to the moon but cannot stop man from hating and fighting his fellow man. Ever since the days of the Prophet Muhammad , Islam has provided a vivid example of how racism can be ended. The annual pilgrimage (Hajj) to Makkah shows the real Islamic brotherhood of all races and nations, when about two million Muslims from all over the world come to Makkah to perform the pilgrimage.
Islam is a religion of justice. God has said:
Truly God commands you to give back trusts to those to whom they are due, and when you judge between people, to judge with justice.... The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 4, Verse 58
And He has said:
...And act justly. Truly, God loves those who are just. The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 49, Verse 9
We should even be just with those who we hate, as God has said:
...And let not the hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety.... The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 5, Verse 8
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: People, beware of injustice, for injustice shall be darkness on the Day of Judgment. Mosnad Ahmad, #5798, and Saheeh Al-Bukhari, #2447
And those who have not gotten their rights (i.e. what they have a just claim to) in this life will receive them on the Day of Judgment, as the Prophet said: On the Day of Judgment, rights will be given to those to whom they are due (and wrongs will be redressed)...Saheeh Muslim, #2582, and Mosnad Ahmad, #7163

As a Muslim i not only know about other religions i have respect for them to.Muslims do not think anyone is inferior to them more so the abusive questions asked on this forum about Islam by people who have no understanding or knowledge of Islam shows the inferiority complex they have about Islam.

It is not Muslims who think that other religions are inferior, it is the believers of other religions who think that their religions are inferior, and all Muslims are not expert in all religions, but some surely are, and here it is why?
All believers of other religions, who know, will confirm that the religion is composed of three elements: Believes, Rituals & Customs. (email me if I missed something)
Belief is about God, there is one, three, 10 or None, about the judgment day, about life after death, about the angles.
Rituals are acts performed being considered good to collect good deeds, like going to church and perform prayers, Bath in such and such river for forgiveness and like.
Customs are ways of living in society in general, and performing specifically Marriage, Birth and Death, Burry the dead, burn the dead, Baptize the new born, procedure of marriage like saying Yes or I do.
Other than that no religion tells any thing about Economical system, system of Judiciary and Legislature, authorities and responsibilities between married couples etc, in other words all religions except ISLAM, are devoid of Social Political and Economic guidelines for humanity.
As a result the non Muslim World has learned that religion has nothing to do with the social system, business, trade, law, justice, state matters and simply religion is a matter of an individuals concern, and they are right about it, because religions have nothing to say any thing about all these matters, rather if all Christians start believing and practicing Christianity, they will become extinct as there is no information in their religion about marriage, peak of piety is associated with remaining single, imagine if all Christians become pious through whole life.
If all people will start practicing their religions, they might have to kill even more scientists who believe that earth is spherical and is not center of the universe.
Similar is the case with all other religions, all swayed away from the right teachings, guidelines and path from the Divinity, the God.
Muslims believe that all humanity has received messages from God, through his Messengers, and the teachings these messengers brought were altered, modified and forgotten because of human prejudice and vested interests. Judaism is one big example, when God revealed Torah (Old testament, the ten commandments), to Moses (peace be upon him) it contained Law, but it was altered afterwards, so another Prophet, Eessa (Jesus, PBUH) was sent to children of Israel, they tried to crucify him, God raised him, and saved him from their mischief.
Then He, the God revealed his final Guidelines, the Quran, to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Muhammad (PBUH) followed the teachings of Quran and established the society (to practice religion) and a State (to enforce Islamic Law), and the whole world saw that a pure welfare state in the history of humanity was established for the first time a 1400 years back.
When our eyes see the truth and our ears hear it and our inner self says that it is truth, My Lord, the one and only, help us to renounce our prejudice, temporary interests and to hold on to the truth and interests of the eternal life, and My Lord guide us to the right path.

How come people tend to make sweeping generalizations about all religions? How come fundamentalist Christians, Muslims, and others deny evolution, only to go home and pop the prescriptions their doctor gave them? How come Mormons don't go around bragging that Joe Smith was successfully prosecuted for shamming people in upstate New York?
The answer to your questions and mine ... religious people feel so uncomfortable about not knowing everything in the world. The fundamentalists take it a step farther and go ego-tripping --- trying to enforce their beliefs on others. And that's what Osammy ain't bin Laidin has in common with Pat "screw donating our money to the homeless and the weak" Robertson. Oh, and both successfully use religion to control millions of people's behavior.

I think you will find that in most religions this is the same. Usually with the people who are very devout, because they believe so strongly that they are right. So in turn it must mean that everyone else is wrong. I know for a fact that this is not only applied to people of the muslim religion but to all religions.

We don't think that other religions are inferior to islam,originally,all religions demand us to profess the unity of God ,but because Islam was the last religion came by revelations on earth, it includes everything that previous relegions have ..

I agree with u. I have had so many fights via email because of this. THEY R RIGHT THE WORLD IS WRONG that is their attitude. It's a very sad religion!
