what if you think this person likes you, and have been liking you for a very long time and he has hinted a lot. yet he never does it directly and seems to be very very shy.
you might not really like him but you want him to face his feelings so that you know exactly what is going on and can think of whether you actually like him or not.
what can you do then?

oh ho ho! Very good question.
Well, I'll tell you what I'd like you to do but I doubt you'll do it. Confront him and tell him, in a caring but firm tone, that you know he likes you and next time, if he likes a girl he'd better tell her before she winds up with somebody else. And tell him to stop being a wuss, girls don't like it. And then just walk away and leave him with that. It may take time but I think he'll get the message.
