Fast for one day, and then eat carefully for awhile, you will lose that before a week is up, drink water , allot of it. No white potatoes, stay from breads unless it is stone ground grain, grilled and broiled foods. If you have salad, dip your fork into the dressing then into the salad so you don't get all that added fat and calories and tase the dessing and salad. Supplement a can of slimfast for lunch. It is good for you. One more thing, eat your supper early enough so that you feel hunger by bedtime. If you can't handle hunger, there is fruit you can eat, a carrot stick or celery stalk with a glass of V8. It is winter, here, I enjoy it hot like coffee.

Day 1: after having a laxative in the morning, go for a huge dump in the evening. Make sure you havnt eaten much (especially unhealthy stuff) during the day.
Day 2: Eat nothing at all, drink lots of water. (take vitamin suppliments if you like)
Day 3: Eat nothing but fruit and drink lots of water.
Day 4: Eat fruit and some carbs (wholemeal bread or shreaded wheat) and some milk. At the end of the day, exercise lightly.
Day 5: Start a healthy balanced diet: cut EVERYTHING unhealthy for at least the 1st week.
By day 5 you would have dropped a bit of weight.

If any methods recommended to you are effective, what will you do when you've lost those 2lbs? If you continue them, then presumably you'll go on losing weight. That doesn't seem to be what you want. But if you stop the method, you're likely to revert to your previous weight. You can't get away from the fact that exercise and a CONTROLLED diet (not necessarily eating LESS) are the best remedies.

Sorry, but there is no other way. You could try diet pills, but those don't actually work. (And the ones that "do", contain buttloads of stimulants that will wreak havoc on your body!)

Why do you need to lose two pounds quickly? What will those extra two pounds do for you that you need to lose them RIGHT NOW as opposed to next month?

1st - Put on a few extra items of clothing, like a duffel coat and some big boots.

2nd - Weigh yourself

3rd - Strip off naked

4th - Weigh yourself

Voila, you've maigcally lost more than 2 pounds in under a minute!!

Takes 2 days if you reduce your carbohydrates to a small amount. Lots of protein (meat, fish), hardly any bread, potatoes, rice.

Go to the sauna, this will lose a couple of pounds, but once you start drinking it will go back on

It's totally not healthy, but you can try water pills (most people carry around about 10 pounds of excess water).
