As the world population outmarches factors of production, gm foods cannot be ignored.Even indegenous foods like cassava have never been tested for side effects. so there is no scientific evidence.

No, but bear in mind this is a recent occurance and effects can take many yrs to show up (BSE took about 15yrs to be aknowledged) and governments will do all they can to cover up bad effects (including paying research companies).
So although there is no current eveidence, give it time!
