Understand the concept of god and his image and all would become clear-
God Almighty did not make us in his image but he made the true inner self of us in his image. And our true inner self is our soul (atman in Hinduism) residing within our heart.
No human body is ever created by God. As we sow so shall be reap... nothing more or less! As we perform our karma... so shall be our future. God Almighty has got nothing to do with it. God Almighty never interferes with the creation of his.
On the contrary every soul (atman) existing in the whole of Cosmos was made by God Almighty in his image. The essence of all souls (atmans) is the same.
Now depending upon the residual balance of karma of a human being in a particular life... we get our next birth. And the body manifested by our soul (atman) varies from other bodies depending on the balance of karma of each and every individual.
It is only after gaining enlightenment that every enlightened soul draws upon itself the true image of God... all dross within having been removed forever... the soul comes back to its original pristine form... the image of God Almighty in its totality! Your way of thinking is not logical, You try to make people think by uing Logicts, I use Truth & not Logicts, , If you notice in Gen. 1:26 We see God saying let US make man in our image, Who was God speaking to, NO, it was not Jesus, But his angelic beings. Therefore since God is the supreme spirit he over rules all the angels, but he does not leave out his angels.

Being made in His image means that we also have the ability to reason in the same way God does. The only thing we know about God is His different aspects. We look at those aspects and remind ourselves that since He created us in His image then the things He does are the same things we should be doing. God is compassionate, therefore we should also be compassionate. God frees the captive, therefore we should also free the captive. God heals the sick, therefore we should also heal the sick. God makes the blind to see, therefore, we should also make the blind to see, etc.

NO that is not logical. If that were true first of all God would have said it and second animals and plants do not have a Spirit or Soul.

Sorry, I try not guess what God did or didn't do, it just gets you no where. I'll just leave it all up to Him and know that He made the right decision on His world.
