I am 23 years old and I just moved across the country to go to school. I took a part time job at a clothing store about a month ago. My boss is 25 and I have been attracted to her ever since I started. The atmosphere we work in allows for alot of contact between us. We are always joking around and touching each other in playful manners.I think we have great chemistry and I really enjoy my time with her. I know it is typically a bad idea to get involved with a co-worker but I am willing to leave the job if we have a chance at a relationship. I have decided to tell her how I feel. Should I just tell her I have a crush on her and wait for a reply. Whould it be better not to confess a crush and just see if she wants to hang out?

Start looking for another job. You are likely not going to get an honest answer about her feelings for you while she is your boss. If the chemistry is real--take a chance.

I just have one question then:
If you are willing to leave the job... why don't you? If you are only willing to leave it for her, I'd say you'd be making a stupid mistake, but a mistake you may need to make in order to learn. If you are willing to leave the job because you can get another anyway, might as well; that way, if she accepts your proposal, then you don't have the awkwardness of working with her, and if she rejects your proposal, you don't have the awkwardness of working alongside someone who refused your advances.
Don't make your life a hassle for something that, in all likelihood, won't work out. Otherwise, go for it.

The only problem is that she is your boss. I think you should take it slowly. See if she wants to do something together just as friends and see where it goes from there. That way if she isnt interested then you dont have to leave your job or feel embarresed. You dont want to ruin your work environment.

If you let her know how you feel, be prepared to look for another job. If she doesn't feel the same way or if ya'll break up badly, your job is in jeopardy. But on the other hand, you can always find another job but she may be the one. Ask her out.

If there is real chemistry then take your chance, you never know it might be the start of something good (or bad). Try asking her out casually (dinner or movie) then see how it goes - good luck!
