I am a crossdresser. I love to dress real feminine. Wearing a burka would not be fun.

I unfortunately had a Muslim woman from Iran work for me. She was always well dressed (no Muslim garb) and worked reasonably well; however, se would often lie to me about a job that she was to complete within a given period of time. She wouldn't take orders...or advice....and caused problems with some of the others. Of course I cannot make a judgment call on one Muslim woman. I know many American women that I can do without. This one wasn't a winner.

I know a lot, because i live in a Muslim country!

They r not different than any other woman in the whole world.

The culture and religion effect on her character as any other person.

in the Arab and Muslim countries the woman has a lot of limitation as:
if u want to go out take ur younger brother with u
don't come late, but ur brother can
woman no matter how educated she is, no matter what she is doing in her life, she at last will be in the kitchen
the man is always right.

In Egypt they say the woman is less in mind and religion

In Saudi Arabia woman don't allow to go out without her brother or father, she is not allow to drive, don't know why?

if she speak to a male there must be something not clean, may be she is easy.

i know a person he told me once if he was walking in the street and met his sister he won't greet her and talk to her because people will thought that something not clean going between them and start gossiping.

I'm Turkish and my country is a secular Republic with a Muslim cultural background, so I know many Muslim women, more or less practicing; all I can tell you is that they're women like all the others: what they believe doesn't make them neither less nor more than any other woman. Peace.

Their names? Zeliha, Zeynep, Melahat, Inci, Ece, Meltem, Fatma, Dilek, Arzu, Duygu, Sibel, Süay, Ceylan, Figen, Neslihan, Güler, Şule, Çağla, et etc etc...;)

I know a lot of muslim women, cause i've been living and visiting countries where that religion is practised. They're just like other women. The only difference being the fact that they are leaving in a particular environment with lots of rules they have to follow.

I don't personally know any Muslim women, no. There aren't a lot of Muslims in my area.

I know of two online who I have seen a lot of Q & A from...

I think that you come off as happy and in possession of inner peace. I think you come off as tolerant and intelligent.

Another is a girl whose user name was kraljib... something, I can't remember how to spell it. I thought of her as very intelligent, feisty, passionate, and as a dreamer. She has a healthy dislike for injustice as well, and I like that. I liked her a lot. I know she's still around, but not sure if she's on Answers anymore.

I know one Muslim woman who went to college here in the town that I live in. She was a very vibrant person with a good view on life. Very peaceful and serene.

There was a girl (hindu) in my office very modern and wearing revealing cloths (tomboyish type). After studying many religions she was satisfied what Islam tought and decided to convert. But before entering Islam she told be clearly "I dont see myself worshiping or changing my dressing style.. forget about wearing hijab"
Now after 1.5 months being a Muslimah she not only stopped wearing revealing cloths but seriously concidering wearing a head scarf.

Noone thretened her with a sword on her head to do that.

I have a lot of Muslim women as friends. And they're very good. They're tolerant, friendly, warm, not preachy, etc. But I do believe they are good is because of their race (Malay) and not because they are Muslims.
