Of course, but I don't think they get a completely accurate view of the afterlife in those brief seconds

Near death experiences are glimpses into the way that the human brain deals with major trauma and how it copes with shutting down and its own possible death. To see it as anything more is just silly and barbaric. What do you think the Bushman of Australia,or a Buddhist from Tibet see when they have near death experiences? Its not Jesus or Heaven or Hell. Imagine that.

Very much so, some of it is none sense and others are not so easily dismissed. If you want to google search 23 minutes in hell, it is a mans testimony of a near death experience in hell. very interesting.

I don't know. I talked to my grandma after she died once, but I guess that counts as a death experience not a near death.

No. Because I was near death a couple of times, and I'm told I had to resuscitated more than once, and I don't remember a thing.

Why not? Everyone gets near to death before they die.

No they are just dreams people had. When the brain comes close to death, it gets a lot of strange mental images and all things known come forward so its like their life flashed before their eyes.
