Screw 'em. You made a nice gesture and they didn't really accept it.

( I hope you mean a letter trying to resolve things when you wrote "love" letter)

That's a kind of slap in the face especially after offering such a kind gesture. Guess you learned a thing or two about about family matters. What now? Nothing it would seem. Except to know that you can hold your head higher than those sib's of yours. For what it's worth it's better to be "generic" than to be caustic with hearts that beat brand name acid. If you want to, take back the letter from them and tell them you'll edit it and have it notarized.

If you really want to try and reconcile, write another letter telling them that your first letter was "heart-felt" and that you are sorry they found it generic. End the letter by leaving things in their hands. Ask them to contact you if they want to get together.
