OK OK....my last Q was I suppose not phrased right cuz 90% missed the point or answered with an insult or doctrine, so let me rephrase this as best as I can.

For people who dont Believe the Bible ONLY: Say for a monent the bible is 100% true. What is the first sin you must confess to Jesus...the one that will hold you back from heaven the most.

Bible Believers ONLY answer this part: Say for a moment the Bible is 100% false. Where do you turn for comfort and waht do you do on Sunday mornings?

As a former sex and drug addict before I knew Jesus, I may turn back to my old ways of porn, hookers and cocaine. But I would hope that I would turn to my family and watch cartoons sunday mornings.

That so hard??
Blessings,
David

Bible believer here. 100% false? Do you mean every jot and tittle? I guess I would mostly start questioning my existance again and try to find something spiritual to cling to. Would just be lost since the Bible is a DAILY source of comfort and inspiration for me. I can't imagine the pain that would cause.

Even if the Bible was proven to be 100% facts, undisputively..... It's would still not effect me. And it probably wouldn't effect other religions much either, because their beliefs are based on just THAT: a Belief. A Faith. Not Facts. Because Facts are for the scientific people and the Historians of the world. It would pretty much make Christianity a chapter in History Books.

I can see why you had some dodgy answers. An open mind is not the same as being able to believe anything.

I come under your first question. So, you have to tell me what a sin is. A crime is written down for all to see, but a sin? To me a sin is simply a moral judgement that not everybody agrees with. People on here will say it is a sin to lie. Does that mean I have to walk up to somebody in the street and say "My god you are obese"? "Why are you wearing that, it looks awful - on you" Do I sin by not saying it?

If the Bible is 100% true then I must confess to doubt the propositions contained within it. Why would an infinite being appear to need/require worship?

Well it depends on what particular doctrine within Christianity you follow... I was always of the belief when I was a Christian that sin was sin... that I would need forgiveness for all sins to get into heaven. I never believed one would hold me back more than another...

So, I would still need you to qualify your question a little further and tell me which sins you think are worse and which are not as bad.

Already confessed through constant prayer.

I don't believe the bible is literally true, but a basis to live a good life and something to shoot for.

I don't believe you or anyone will be judged. You have already been punished for sins through daily struggle and hard times you have faced.

A parent quickly punishes to teach the child right from wrong and then it is over. The parent does not send the child to eternal damnation or disown the child or kill the child or burn the child. We are gods children, correct?

I guess the biggest sin would be denouncing the existence of His Holy Father, since it is the only one unforgivable sin. But whether all merciful Jesus would forgive that unpardonable act (paradox) remains to be seen. I'm wrong and I admit it..so...

Well we all know the Bible can't be 100% true. I would bet that it can't be 100% false either. Some of those fables must have a grain of truth to them.

Being that I am a former Christian turned Atheist, I would definitely say that I would have to apologize for being born. Since according to the bible I am a sinner for being human and being born.

:) well God creates and sends us things it may be the Bible or music, people or uses anything accesible to Him to reach out to us, thats how loving God is to us, depending on what level of spirituality we may already have, and depending on our strengths, talents etc. to the Intellectuals - He makes Himself felt in the Bible, to others, maybe good examples from other people.
