no what jitendara is telling thats loosaes the format of the text. If you just want a part of text, then this copy paste idea is good.. but if you want it as aformatted doc file as pdf has then it is not possible without any softwares. At the most you can convert this file into rtf format.

1. Select + Copy will not work in pdf viewer if it is a protected document.
2. Select+Copy will not work for the pdfs created from .ps
3. if the document is created from .ps (postscript) , you can not convert that to word-doc using any converter also.
But, you can use some OCR software to convert image to text ! (ha ha, still you need converter)

It is a very tough job. You have copy the contents and paste in a document. But may not get the same format and appearance as in the pdf file.
But after copying you can change the fonts, paragraphs, etc.
But it ll take your time very much. Better use a converter.

in case you have Adobe acrobat, & not in simple terms the reader version then all you're able to do is re-open the be conscious document from Adobe Acrobat. that is going to transform the be conscious record into PDF, the all you're able to do is shop the hot record that grow to be created.

I don't think its possible for amateurs. You have to be a good programmer or a computer wizard to do so.
