Being a satanist and an atheist (most satanists do NOT believe in a god OR a devil, they use the symbol of the tempter and teacher in its promethean aspect, devoid of religion), I see no reason not to.
It'd be about time we had someone with a BRAIN in office instead of this two-bit hick we have now and the idiot who didn't even think to get some tide on that stain on that blue dress.

Atheist or satanist. That is a huge difference. If you mean atheist then sure why not the person should be basing all his decisions on reason not what a mythical invisible being wants. Satanist - of course not. A satanist worships something that most people believe to be pure evil. Who would vote for someone that worships evil?

Hey to be fair put it in perspective, Benjamin Franklin was an athiest. Are you calling the person a satanist because he is athiestic? Or an athiestic satanist.
In all honesty if someone where to be into themselves that much, to be a "self-proclaimed" athiestic satanist then I would have to consider it normal, which politician doesn't think of themselves highly.
Then again to answer your question it would be hard for me to vote for someone so into themselves. I would have a hard time believing that a political party would even dare nominate someone brash as that. A politician should always hold the people first. If he is an athiestic satanist he is just committing political suicide.
As you have brought to light some close-minded individuals in Yahoo Answers who think that you meant an athiest satan-worshiper instead of a person who thinks they are god, you will likewise find that person out of a job in our country's capital because of it.

Are you asking if satanists would vote for him or if he is an atheistic satanist. If it is the first I can't really answer, and if it is the second I refuse to vote for someone who denies the existence of god and yet embraces it at the same time.
This has nothing to do with him being an atheist, just that someone who is that confused is either lying, or just stupid.

First of all, someone who was a satanist could not be considered atheistic, because atheists don't believe in any supernatural beings.
Secondly, I am automatically suspicious of anyone who professes love of his god over love of his country and our Constitution.
Thirdly, this is a silly question, because as long as we hold onto our seeming obsession with gods, an atheist wouldn't even be nominated.
On a personal note: Yes, I would vote for the best candidate, regardless of religion (or lack thereof).
And your two definitions are the lamest I've seen in a long time.

You can't be atheistic and satanistic at the same time. To worship satan, you must believe in a god.

You can't be an atheist and satanist. Satanists believe there is a god.

All of the candidates claim to be good christians, but do we have the power to judge them and say they are really believers? Jesus said judge not!! Only the Father has that power.
If it happens i can vote for that guy. Do you want to have a good christian with bad policies or an atheist with good policies? u decide for yourself. Lol....

Come on now-------to be an Atheist means to be a Satanist? I think not. I'd much prefer an Atheist to what we have now-a born again, holier than thou Evangelical Christian. (Of course, that Bush is so unintelligent doesn't help any, too).
