My birthday is coming up and I am looking for a particular Sangria recipe which I have lost. It was the best I have ever tasted.
I think it was from one of the Coles Christmas special magazines, but I can't be sure. However, I am fairly certain it was from a magazine.
It had Rose wine and Brandy, I think, and it used sugar syrup and lemonade, and I think it had apple, lime and berries. Something like that.
Any help would be much appreciated, even you just have a similar recipe.
Thanks.

I have just remembered that it was called Pink Sangria. Don't know if that helps.

The EASY way:

Take 2 cups of dry red wine, preferably Chilean. Add a bottle of Sprite. Float orange and lemon slices in the mixture. Add ice and serve either as a punch or in tall glasses accented by lemon slices and maraschino cherries. Include coloured straws and those cute little umbrellas.

The recipe of Sangria should differ from one person to another according to taste. The main ingredients are light red wine, fruits and liqeuer/spirit. I particularly like to mix Pinot Noir or Merlot with strawberries, orange, a bit of lemon or lemon juice, melon, honeydew, triple sec or cointreau or peach liqeuer or other fruit liqeuer. You can add some honey or mango nectar if you like it sweeter; otherwise brandy or gin or vodka if you like it dryer. The amount of each ingredient should be according to your taste.
