The question is validity, not if it is properly filled out!

No, it will NOT be dismissed. The street you are looking at may very well be where the violation took place. The may have stopped you 3-4 blocks later on a different street. Just becasue I see a traffic violation occur doesn't mean I have to stop you iin the very vicinity. I may want to wait a few blocks where I know I can get back-up if needed.

Not automatically. If you go up to the county clerk and argue that you can't possibly have gotten a parking ticket on Green Avenue because your car wasn't on Green Avenue, you probably won't get it dismissed, unless you can prove your car was nowhere near Green Avenue.

If there's no such place as Green Avenue, though, you could argue that there's no way the ticket could be completely valid.

You're most likely gonna end up paying the ticket, though.

And don't just assume it's dismissed... if they got your name or license plate number, they can pursue payment for the ticket.

If they serve it omproperly, then yes, it is dismissed. If you were pulled over and issued the ticket in person, then the officer properly served you, so it doesn't matter if there are errors in the address field.

Good luck with the ticket! One of life's little set-backs.

In NYC, if the summons is improperly prepared, the summons will be dismissed. You still have to go to court, but unless the officer is allowed to amend the summons by the judge, then the summons will be dismissed.

No. The point is that the violation on your part did take place regardless of the street name.

No, it won't get dismissed. They have your license number and if you don't pay the fine, they will issue a warrant for your arrest. Just pay it!
