Ok...if there are, everyone think for ONE MINUTE...the Bible is 100 % true. If you cant, you have no open mind or imagination, so go to another question.
What sins would you most need forgiveness of to get to heaven??
Bible belivers, Say for ONE MINUTE the Bible is totally false. If you cant, just move along. What do you do? Where do you turn? I would turn back to cocaine and pornography I guess.

BTW....thats why I dislike people telling me the Bible is false....look where I would go. Drugs. So, think of peoples lives once in a while, not just your beliefs.

FYI, the Bible IS 100% true every minute of every day. The sin I repent of most is actually a sin of omittance. I feel that I don't spend enough time with God on a daily basis reading my bible, praying and worshiping Him.
As for part two, I guess I would be back in the bars drinking and dancing my life away as a lush. Looking for love in all the wrong places. Thank God that I found Him and He loves me so much that I don't have to look anymore. My search is over. I found true love and His name is Jesus Christ.

Interesting question ok here goes.As a belierver jesus christ is lord and saviour to all therefore those who repent of their sins are forgiven that was the purpose god sent the messiah to earth for ,so that even gentiles that means other than jews can be saved if they repent and believe and try to follow the life of jesus he gave just one rule Treat others as you would have them treat you ,This in fact covers the whole ten commandments in a single rule .The bible also say's that once you repent and do no more god forgets them.In reality this is a way of life and how you should live it.People say it is a religion but that is questionable as far as I am concerned .Living that way makes for peace and harmony for all who follow it as a lifestyle.Ok now to part 2 if the bible is totally false then personally I would still have hope and charity toward others regardless of race color beliefs and sexual preference .But as you say you would go back to cocaine Others may do the same maybe the world would have evolved differently and there would be rape plunder and perish total kaos in other words .The stong would survive the weak killed or perish .The muslim god is not really different just that a minority have misinterprereted it for their own benifit the same as has happened by some christians they interperete what they want to gain power money etc.

A World where the Bible was 100% true - and could be proved to be so - would be a frightening place.
The Middle Ages was a World where everyone believed the Bible to be 100% true and the results were witch trials, denunciations of heresy, the Spanish Inquisition, a belief in the flat Earth and that the Sun revolves around the Earth.
There would be no innovation or invention - because if it didn't exist in the Bible it wouldn't be needed. All other religions would either be forcibly converted to Christianity or there would be religious wars - Crusades - to turn them to "the true path".
No-one would dare criticise any religious leader who would as a consequence hold absolute power over everyone... which would inevitably lead to corruption. There would be no freedom of speech and no democracy; religious police would be everywhere.
No-one would take responsibility for even the tiniest thing... because "if God wills it" then it will happen anyway. There would be nothing more than the basic medicine and surgery - your illness would be seen as a punishment and your recovery or death a matter for God alone to decide.

If the Bible were 100% true, then you would need forgiveness of all sins equally, because the Bible says that each and every sin is able to damn you, so it's not like some sins you need forgiveness of, but others you are ok without forgiveness of.
And if the Bible was completely false, that still doesn't necessarily mean that people would automatically turn to complete depravity. People can still have ethics and morals without a religious base. Even if they don't have ethics and morals, they can still perform moral actions out of a rational basis; for example, cocaine is a foolish choice both morally and rationally because rationally you know if you do cocaine, you'll probably become addicted and ruin your life.

David, I couldn't answer your question because I found it so sad. But I guess I'll answer it and go off to bed.
I should only answer the first part. If the bible is 100% true than the "sin" I most need forgiveness for is my disbelief in god. It was the #1 commandment and defined my relationship with god.
The second part is what made me so sad. That without "the bible" you'd just be a porno addicted cokehead. I know so, so many atheists and none of them do either of those things. To think that you would either BE that guy, or THINK you would be that guy without the bible - both options are so sad to me. I don't know what to say. I'm just really sorry anybody feels like that.

If the bible were true, each sin weighs the same as another, so you need the most forgiveness on all of them.
If the bible were false, I'd be droning around like a dote.

let's see, I am divorced, so I have comitted adultery, broken every commandment except murder, and committed all seven deadlies. I have spoken in church--basically if there is a sin listed in the bible I am guilty--including practicing witchcraft--I can understand your need for the bible and your religion, and I respect that
EDIT P.S. having read some of the responses, I think this may be the best question ever asked on this forum

The God concept as defined by Christianity, appears to have many problems. The omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent being, had the ability to create a world/universe with both free will AND humans that did not sin. Yet, humans were apparently flawed in some respect, because they defied God at the first opportunity.
Consequently the all powerful being was NOT a perfect creator, in that humans with inherent flaws were created.
Conclusion?

What do you think God to be ??? A restricted and Limited being, Yet can be restricted and limited according to His/Her/It/THAT's will and wishes ....

Now go and read Bible again, but see Jusus is and beyond the body addressing several people at several levels, according to their own needs and tastes ....
Now read Bible again with a view point, God can do anything and everthing according to the Divine Will and Wishes ... then probably the whole mystery is explained and Bible shall seem a book ie 100% True ...
edit:- Cocaine and pornography, why do you see it with contempt, animilistic instincts are present in Human Beings, so probably Bible teaches, may be to transcend ephimeral and fleeting happiness to Permanent Bliss, may by doing all acts with an attitude of complete self surrender, as an offer to Almighty, to fit into the Groove, Thy has given, issues like the fleeting bliss from cocaine and porn shall not arise at all, When the sun rises, the moon loose its glory, right ...??? When u go at the Permanent One, temporary things do not matter much ... right ???
luv and SAI RAM,

!) It isn't a matter of the most deadly sin, or the most awful, or the most often committed, since just one sin renders you unfit for heaven. And that catches everyone. None is righteous, all need forgiveness. For all our moral and practical differences, as far as getting to heaven is concerned, we are all in the same boat. "Who then can be saved?" "With men it is impossible, but not with God..."
2) Lots of other places to go... Dostoevsky is hardly alone in noting, if not necessarily supporting, the view that suggested "If God does not exist than everything is permitted." but that was in the context of a murder trial! Still some sense of morality in the community, then...
That's one alternate source of value: the family, the tribe, the culture. C S Lewis tried to demonstrate a universal set of values, common to most if not all cultures. See "The Abolition of Man" and "The Tao" for his argument, and examples of morailty in faiths and cultures other than biblical ones.
Other routes are possible, without promoting hedonism as "all there is", but that IS in the reckoning too.
But without a cast in iron, or carved in stone, morality yes, there is going to be a degree more uncertainty. And also insecure folk trying conjure absolutes out of nowhere.
