Well, when things are scary, you feel protected. When I get scared, I just say my favorite Bible verse reminding me that God is there, and then I feel protected and not scared anymore.
Also, whenever I ask him for things in my prayers, I usually get them. Sometimes it's to teach me a lesson, which I really needed.
You also don't get so scared of dying. Cause you know if you've been everything God wants you to be, then you're going to a very happy, safe place where you'll see other people that you might've lost.
It's a great feeling being a Christian. I love it. I learn a lot.

It’s the best. It is really hard at times when people persecute me but in the end I know it makes my faith in God stronger. Life is hard, and knowing that someone will never leave you or forsake you no mater what is the best feeling. I thing the worse thing is people have made a stereotype for Christians.
Not long ago this person that did’t know I was a Christian found out and thought I was 2 normal to be one. I showed them that being a Christian doesn’t mean I can’t live a normal life.

liberating.
Feeling the love of God.
Having a perspective that goes beyond this life.
Hehe, peaceful inside, but knowing that we are HATED.
Some people say we fell afraid of God. I don't. I think people with bad doctrine do. My mother was raised in a family where bad theology was taught and practiced.
But God is my Father. A kind, benevolent, and patient Father. He doesn't let me do whatever I want and act like it's okay, but He is slow to anger and quick to forgive.
How many other relationships can you find like that? Even in this so-called "enlightened" age?
Hey, if you have scientific questions. Keep researching. Some Christians might dispute that, but the Bible says, "study to show yourself approve". It means the Bible, but there are plenty of other scientists who believed in God and it didn't stop him.
George Washington Carver also was very sucessful in learning and helping people, but He kept his faith and was able to help the world.
i.e. Peanut Milk (study how it was used to help people in poor countries)

Its like being like Ned Flanders. One christian once wrote for his fellow christains that in heaven, the streets are paved in gold (naturally), everyone is laughing and happy 24/7 and the body parts of people yet to be born are kept in warehouses. Think like that and you have a pretty good idea what it is like to be a christian.

Well, you are fearless, because you know you are already forgive and death is a good thing, not bad.
The worst part is church.,....but you dont have to go. Too much gossip 4 me.
The best part is the Holy Spirit....guiding you to truth, righteousness and giving you Holy Joy!!
Its basically like getting a new heart....you see everything different than before.
Blessings

You live every day of your life terrified that you've done something to anger god that will make him burn you in hell for all eternity. It also involves unwillingness to deny fact and willingness to blindly accept whatever a 2000 year old book written by mankind during a time we still believed in dragon happens to say accompanied by a complete denial of any contradictions within said work.
Oh, I forgot to add that you do all this in the hopes that someday you and your dead loved ones will get to bask in the glory of some god so that he knows how wonderful he is and he makes you feel eternal happiness. But, that is ONLY if you (or any of your dead loved ones) didn't tick him off in the meantime. If you did in any way, you (or your loved one) will be sent to eternal torment burning in the fires of hell.

Its like trying to stick your head up your own butt and believing that you can every step of the way.
the childish delusion that you're going to some happy little place to meet all your dead friends after you die is truly either a mental illness or a mental deficiency. it is absolutely amazing that such a large percentage of the population is so out of touch with reality.

it's really really hard. especially when you learn things that are scientific fact, and then your religion tells you it's a falsehood. it tends to prevent you from learning.
