I have been arrested for public intoxication one time in new orleans and the other in myrtle beach S.C. I suggest that you tell the judge that you were being immature and assure him/her that it will not happen again. If this is your first time it will probably be dismissed.
If you try to defend yourself on the, everyone else was drunk and the police officer was picking on me defense, the judge will probably throw the book at you.

I'm not sure, but you're kind of out of luck, I think.
Your friends, they missed. You, they caught.
The fact that you weren't the only one doing it doesn't make it any more legal.

Tell him you were the one who ran his mouth when the others were smart enough to keep quiet.
