Take it or leave it. I have been fairly successful with picking up girls at bars/clubs and at various other places. The biggest thing is confidence and honesty.
All of the pick up lines in the world will not work if you are not confident about yourself. Girls definitely like a guy is sure of himself but not cocky. Also honesty if you try to lie you will get caught.
Biggest suggestion is just introduce yourself and be confident. Do not try stupid pick up lines. They rarely work and also remember that you will not get a yes from every girl but a no never hurt anyone and when that yes does come it will feel that much better.

Every girl is different, there is always some varient trait in a guy that makes them attracted to that person. I think that attraction is a large part to lure a woman, however, its the personality that tips a girl to lean towards you more then another person that may be similar rated in looks. Feel and act confident and take care of yourself (hygeine wise because it will also help your confidence). www.askmen.com is a great site that provides information for guys about dating/relationships and other stuff. Just be yourself, and have fun because when you don't care about being in a relationship or single, thats when you really come out and girls will get a chance to see that side of you. As a girl who is looking for a guy right now, I can tell you that the last thing I want to hear from a guy who is interested in me is a line of crap. Out with the cheesy pick up lines, and in with honest compliments. Yes, it's nice to hear what you want to hear sometimes, but it's also nice to know that you're not pulling my leg when you tell me that I look nice or I'm fun to be around. I just think that lying to someone is one of the worst things you can do to them. And why would you want to get to know someone by telling them lies. Then, when they are into you, they're really not and you can't exactly tell them the truth without hurting their feelings. I don't really think there's a "trick" to it though. Be yourself, and be honest. Those are the two best things I can tell you.

There are no "tricks"... Be yourself (or at least something interesting)... Make them laugh, be confident, and above all, DON'T LIE OR TRY TO "SEDUCE", it doesn't work... And if you lie to someone who might become close to you, how do you explain WHY you lied???
