The Latin letter delta (looks like a triangle) is used in science and math to symbolize change, so that could be one choice as a basic design with whatever embellishments you find attractive.
Of course, if you're thinking another kind of change, try getting images of quarters, dimes, nickels, & pennies tattooed on some part(s) of our anatomy.
On the other hand, given time, your skin will reflect change all by itself, without the cost, pain, and relative permanence of a tattoo.

Just remember: "Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine."

I would get a linear tattoo showing a story. Somewhat along the lines of an animation, a growing person or a changing symbol.

did you mean "word" change. and what means change to you? i don't think a tattoo has to be literal. if i were going to get a tattoo about change i may get a cocoon (because butterflys are soooo overdone) or an autum leaf (the changing of the seasons) or if you want a bigger tattoo you could get some kind of animal or creature that is mutating (changing) into a completely different one. those are my ideas.

Incorperate the chemistry symbol for change, which is the triangle, with your original or adopted artwork.
