I want the breakup more than he because he's been using me. He is classic sociopath and used me until he broke me and I just got tired of his lying and masterful manipulation and his withholding of sex and intimacy. BUT, since I want him out of my house, I feel he may want to retaliate? How should I interact with him while he cleans out his belongings?

BE VERY CAREFUL -- it would be BEST if YOU pack up his things and put them someplace, anyplace, OTHER than your home -- and DO NOT LET HIM BACK IN ...

I would recommend you have the police stand by if you fear him that much. You can call the police they can help you. Change the locks on all your doors. Also I would recommend that you get a restraining order against him keeping him away from you your family and your place of employment. "Good luck and stay safe."

You answered your own question. He is an alleged sociopath. Stand there armed with a shot gun.. He should be a good boy if he knows you aren't messing around.

Have someone there with you while he moves out. If it is your house, change the locks and request that a police officer be present while he gets his stuff out.

Coming from experience in this situation please please have someone there with you if you want to be there. Or else you need to tell him he needs to bring a police officer with him to pick up his belongings. I thought that I could keep things civil when I moved out of my ex husbands house and he ended up putting me through two walls. Please again have someone go with you.
