I just did on Friday. The nurse said it wasn't a problem. Just use a tampon.

Can you? Yes. Would you want to? Probably not. Would you need to? Again, probably not.

It depends on why you are going to have one. If it's a routine procedure--if your doctor decided that it was "just time for one," then why not delay it until after your period? It won't hurt anything and the doctor will be OK with that.

If your doctor ordered one because he suspects that you might have colon cancer, however, I would get it done just as soon as possible, period or no.

Since the areas in question are separate from each other, and since neither is affected by the other, it would make no physical difference if you had a colonoscopy during your period or not. It would only make a psychological difference (would you be embarrassed by it?), and so, absent a serious medical condition like cancer, it would make no difference.

As long as you are healthy,it's up to you.

I am an RN. Yes of course. There is no relation between the two. One will not affect the other. Why, what is your concern?
